Durham Colleges enjoy a weekend of fun-filled events.
Over the past weekend, a selection of Durham's colleges hosted a variety of engaging events that brought students together for fun and friendship.
Outdoor 'Toxic' Assault Course
One college took advantage of the sunny weather by organizing an outdoor event with our Toxic Theme Assault Course 60ft. Students tackled the inflatable obstacles, raced through challenging sections and embraced the competitive spirit. The event was a huge hit with participants enjoying the mix of fitness and fun.
Indoor Electronic Games
Another college provided a selection of electronic games including Top Doc - Giant Operation Hire, Kaboom - Minefield Challenge and Giant Buzz Wire - Beat The Bleep, offering students a chance to unwind, socialise and enjoy some friendly competition.
Rodeo Bull at Wynyard Hall
Later in the evening, the entertainment continued at Wynyard Hall where another college hosted their ball. One of the main attractions of the night was our Rodeo Bull. Students dressed in their finest attire took turns testing their balance and skills, adding an exciting twist to the traditional college ball experience, leading to plenty of laughter and memorable moments. College balls are a cherished tradition at Durham, often themed and held at various venues, providing memorable experiences for attendees.
Adult Sized Ball Pit
One of the standout attractions of the weekend was our ever so popular 10ft x 10ft Adult sized Ballpool. The nostalgic and playful attraction provided endless entertainment with students taking fun photos and reliving their childhood memories.
